Job Summary
MarketBeat is seeking an experienced Database and Server Administrator to join its growing technology team. This role will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases as well as administering Windows servers and related infrastructure that support MarketBeat’s high-traffic investor platform. This role will also play a key part in our upcoming migration to SQL Server 2025, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining performance and availability. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of SQL Server administration experience, proven success with database migrations and upgrades, and the ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SQL Server databases across production, staging, and development environments.
- Administer and maintain Windows servers, including updates, patching, and system monitoring.
